Today brought another exciting day at camp, filled with learning, teamwork, adventure, and plenty of fun! Despite the surprising rain, our campers showed great flexibility and a fantastic attitude. Some of the planned outdoor activities had to be adapted or moved indoors for a while, but that certainly didn’t stop the fun! Everyone embraced the changes with enthusiasm, and whenever the weather allowed, we made the most of being outside and enjoying the beautiful Swiss Alps. ️️
Common Programme – All Groups
The day began with breakfast from 07:30 to 08:30, giving everyone plenty of energy for the busy day ahead. ☀️
From 09:00 to 11:00, campers took part in their language courses or enjoyed Magic Grid and Battleship, combining learning, creativity, teamwork, and plenty of friendly competition.
Between 11:00 and 12:00, campers could choose between optional sports and intensive language sessions, making the most of their final morning activities. ⚽
At 12:00, everyone gathered for lunch at Les Elfes, before heading off for an exciting afternoon programme. ️
The day came together again with dinner at Les Elfes at 19:00, giving everyone the opportunity to relax, recharge, and share stories from the day. ✨
Discoveries
The Discoveries enjoyed an action-packed Sports Day from 13:00 to 16:00, taking part in a variety of fun activities, games, and team challenges. The unexpected rain meant that some parts of the programme had to be adapted, but the campers didn’t let the weather dampen their spirits! They continued to show fantastic energy, enthusiasm, and team spirit. ⚽️
From 17:00 to 19:00, they took part in optional sports and their MTB Test, putting their skills to the test and enjoying the chance to challenge themselves. ♂️
They rounded off the evening with Mini Golf from 20:00 to 21:00, where friendly competition, laughter, and plenty of great shots made for a fun end to the day. ⛳
Explorers
The Explorers had an exciting afternoon of Bubble Football from 13:00 to 17:00 at the Sport Center. With the changing weather requiring some flexibility in the programme, the campers embraced the opportunity to stay active, have fun, and work together. Bubble Football brought plenty of laughter, energy, and friendly competition! ⚽
From 17:00 to 19:00, the Explorers enjoyed free time and optional sports, giving them the perfect opportunity to relax with friends or continue being active.
The evening brought the Les Elfes Challenge from 20:00 to 21:00, where campers worked together through a series of fun challenges, putting their communication, creativity, and teamwork to the test.
Pioneers
The Pioneers headed to Saxon from 13:00 to 17:00 for an exciting rock-climbing session. They had the opportunity to challenge themselves, develop their climbing skills, and encourage one another throughout the adventure. ♂️⛰️
Although the weather was a little unpredictable, the Pioneers adapted brilliantly and continued to make the most of their afternoon. Their enthusiasm and positive attitude helped turn every challenge into part of the adventure! ️
From 17:00 to 19:00, they enjoyed free time and optional sports, giving everyone a chance to unwind, recharge, or stay active with friends. ⚽
To finish the day, the Pioneers gathered for Campfire & Marshmallows from 20:00 to 21:00. With laughter, stories, and delicious toasted marshmallows, it was the perfect way to end another memorable day at camp.
Another fantastic day at Les Elfes comes to an end! The surprising rain may have brought a few changes to the programme, but it certainly didn’t stop our campers from having an amazing time. From sports and rock climbing to Bubble Football, team challenges, Mini Golf, and a cosy campfire, there was something for everyone.
Most importantly, our campers once again showed enthusiasm, resilience, and great team spirit, proving that whatever the weather brings, the adventure at Les Elfes continues! ️️
