Today was another exciting day here at camp Les Elfes in beautiful Verbier! As Talia the elf, I had the best time watching all the kids from different countries enjoy their adventures. The sun was shining brightly, making the snow sparkle like diamonds.
In the morning, some of the brave little skiers headed out again to hit the slopes. They glided down the mountain with big smiles, practicing their turns and having so much fun. After a few runs, they returned to camp to warm up and enjoy a delicious lunch together. The smell of hot chocolate and fresh sandwiches filled the air — everyone was happy and energized!
Later, the kids went back to ski, eager to improve their skills and enjoy the crisp mountain air. When they returned to camp, they had a tasty snack — cookies, fruit, and juice — to recharge. Then, some of the children went into town to explore, shop, and take in the charming Swiss scenery. Others chose to stay at camp and relax by watching a fun movie in our cozy cinema room, while a few others got creative in the baking corner, making cookies and cupcakes.
As evening approached, everyone gathered again for dinner, sharing stories of their day. Afterward, some of the kids went on a magical torchwalk around the town. It was a beautiful sight! Meanwhile, others played a lively game called “The Cube,” which had everyone laughing and working together.
What a wonderful second day at camp! I can’t wait to see what adventures tomorrow will bring.
