Today was the final day for most of the kids at camp, and the mountains were as beautiful as ever. The day started with more skiing under the bright sun, and I cheered them on from behind the trees. Afterward, we had a delicious lunch at the cantine on the slopes, where the kids shared stories from their home countries.
The afternoon brought more skiing fun before returning to camp for a rest and snacks. Later, we headed to town. Some kids went ice skating, their laughter echoing in the chilly air. Dinner was filled with stories and goodbyes, and then we wrapped up with a prize-giving ceremony, celebrating everyone’s efforts.
As the day ended, I felt so grateful for all the memories made. Tomorrow, the camp will be quiet, but today was full of magic. I’ll never forget it.
